The Harvest Hootenanny is a yearly celebration of local agriculture and marks the completion of another successful growing season. For a decade, CCUA has used the event, a staple among supporters, to showcase the value of urban ag and continue building community around the mission of good food for all and the skills to grow it. This year, holding the Hootenanny in as we know it unfortunately isn’t possible due to COVID-19. A virtual event will allow CCUA to celebrate and showcase what we do and thank our supporters in a safe way and raise some money while we’re at it. So instead of the Harvest Hootenanny, this year it’s a Holiday Hootenanny! This year’s Holiday Hootenanny will include live music by The Burney Sisters, The Kay Brothers, Mercer & Johnson, Robert Battle Band and more. Join us for an evening of music, raffle prizes, free swag, photo contest, interactive bingo and more! Help CCUA kick off the start of CoMoGives with this amazing interactive Holiday event, right at home!
After 7 months of silence, we’re incredibly excited to reopen The Blue Note and fill it with live music again! These walls just aren’t the same without you guys, and we want to let you know that the health and safety of our guests and team is our number one concern. We’ll be reopening with a reduced capacity of 150 people and protocols to ensure a safe environment that follows city approved guidelines. And we need your help too– please make sure to read through our house rules thoroughly before coming to a show. You can find them here.
Things will look different for a while, and we’ll continue to adapt as new information and guidelines are released. Please be good humans, be respectful, be understanding, and we’ll get through this together. Please know that we’re doing whatever we can to help bring Columbia’s vibrant music scene back to life, and we thank you in advance for your support and understanding.
