You can purchase reduced-free tickets for shows at The Blue Note, 9th Street, Rose Music Hall, and Rose Park in person at The Blue Note box office during the below hours. Up to a $2 per ticket fee may still apply for tickets purchased in person at the box office. If tickets remain, they can also be purchased (credit card only) at The Blue Note box office on show nights starting 30 minutes prior to doors opening.

Gift cards are redeemable in person at The Blue Note box office for concert tickets to shows at all of our venues in town – The Blue Note, 9th Street, Rose Music Hall, and Rose Park. Check your gift card balance HERE.
We are moving towards strictly digital tickets along with a lot of the music industry.
Each digital ticket will have a scannable barcode that can also be added to your smartphone’s wallet in advance so you don’t have to worry about poor cell service. NOTE: Your barcode includes technology to protect it, so you won’t be able to use screenshots or print outs. A short video tutorial can be found here.
All guests picking up tickets at Will Call must show a photo ID, credit card used to purchase the tickets, and ticket confirmation number. Will Call tickets can only be picked up the night of the event by the ticket purchaser. If a friend needs to use your tickets or will be arriving separately, you can transfer tickets in your Ticketmaster account.
Presales that happen before the general onsale are available online only.
Generally, artists have a team that handles their VIP program and will send out the timeline of events 72 hours in advance of the show. If you feel you didn’t receive this email please check purchase confirmation email for a customer service contact to get more info or email info@thebluenote.com.
Artist guest lists are usually at the box office about a half hour before doors open on the day of the show. To redeem your tickets, please present your valid Photo ID. To avoid any confusion, we recommend double checking with your contact the day before the show to eliminate any miscommunication the night of.
All ticket sales are final. Tickets will only be refunded if an event is canceled. Show times and support acts are subject to change without notice. In the event that a show is canceled, refunds are available at the point of purchase. For online purchases, refunds will be issued automatically to the card on which the tickets were purchased.
Our policy is children age 2 and under in arms do not need a ticket. Occasionally specific shows might have their individual policies which would supersede our venue policy. These instances would be indicated on the ticket link. We also strongly recommend a form of protective ear covers to protect your kiddo’s sensitive ears.
For shows with age restrictions (18+ or 21+), minors would be allowed if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT
The Blue Note is located at 17 N 9th Street in downtown Columbia, MO.
Bags (max size 12″ x 6″ x 12″) are allowed and will be searched upon entry. Exceptions will be made for necessary medical equipment and bags for nursing mothers. We encourage you to pack light with only the necessities to make the entry process as smooth as possible.
We are a cashless facility meaning that we are unable to accept cash as a form of payment.
- Our Box Office will only accept credit and debit.
- Our Bars will only accept credit, debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Please note that artist merchandise sales are separate and may still accept cash.
Yes, our lower level is ADA accessible. We are happy to make special arrangements to make sure you can get a good spot to watch the show, just give us a call at 573.874.1944 or email info@thebluenote.com.
- No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm.
- No replica weapons.
- No drugs, drug paraphernalia or illegal substances of any kind.
- No outside food or unsealed liquids or gels. A single, sealed water bottle up to 20oz or empty bottle is allowed.
- No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks or laser pointers.
- No professional audio, video, or audio recording equipment – (including detachable lenses, tripods, zooms or commercial use rigs)
- No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm.
- No backpacks or large bags over 12″ x 6″ x 12″
This list of prohibited items is not inclusive and subject to change at the discretion of venue management and security.
Patrons are allowed to bring in a small personal camera. Professional cameras, or anything with a detachable lens is not allowed without a photo pass from the artist. Please note that permission to take photos is at the discretion of the artist. Cell phone usage and any photography is typically prohibited at all comedy performances.
Smoking / vaping is not permitted in the venue and will be cause for ejection without refund.
There is street parking available in all directions from The Blue Note. Meters run 9am- 7pm Monday-Saturday and are free on Sundays. There are also parking garages around downtown which are free after 7pm and all day on the weekends! The closest parking garages to The Blue Note are located on 8th & Walnut, 8th & Cherry and 5th & Walnut, but there are quite a few more downtown which are all pretty close.

Most of our shows are general admission, but we do have balcony seats and tables that may be reserved seating for certain shows. You can find this information on the ticket purchase page.
If you left an item at The Blue Note please email info@thebluenote.com and our venue staff will contact you if your item is found. Items will be kept for 30 days after the event and then donated to local charity.
No, there is not a coat check.
Yes, poster tubes are allowed.
A majority of our shows are all ages, although occasionally a show is restricted to 18+ or 21+. Minors are welcome to attend any of our shows, no matter the age limit, when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please check our calendar for age restrictions on specific shows and events.
No, we do not have an ATM at our venue.
We do not serve food, but there are several restaurants very close by in downtown Columbia.
We reserve the right to enforce a no minor re-entry policy: if you are under 21 and leave the building, you will not be re-admitted. If you are over the age of 21, you are free to come and go as you please as long as you are still wearing the colored wristband you were given upon entry (as proof of ticket purchase).
The Blue Note is dedicated to providing a safe environment. Public and private security will be present throughout the entire event. The Security Staff will be available to assist your needs including any medical requests.
