They say fortune favors the bold – and based on the way the city of Columbia is changing these days, that statement certainly rings true. On Saturday August 18th, two of Columbia’s boldest young businesses — Logboat Brewing Company and The Blue Note — return for year 2 of Fortune Fest, a celebration of Columbia’s incredibly innovative and supportive community. If you know Logboat and The Blue Note well, you know there’s nothing we enjoy more than throwing a big ‘ol party. Fortune Fest will be no exception – taking place on the beautiful new stage at Rose Park and featuring a stellar lineup of national and local talent – headlined by funk and soul powerhouse Black Joe Lewis! We’ll have cold beer flowing, food trucks in the street, craft vendors from around the state, and a funky carnival feel that will have you dancing in the street.
This is our thank you to the people of Columbia for supporting the risk takers, the bold thinkers, and the community of entrepreneurs who continuously strive to make our city a better place to live, work and play. We are fortunate… this is Fortune Fest.
